Loves

No idea what the occasion was but one of my sister's called today! Well it was more her husband I was talking to but I guess that is the same as talking to her right? Heard her laughter in the background. That should count.. Updated each other on our lives. Both newbies to Australia. One in Perth (West), the other in Adelaide(South). So love them for still calling me! But kak sya, I am so sadded lah you forget me.. Just cause I am in Australia too does not mean you don't get me anything lah. Sadded...:( Ahaks..

The sister is making Tarts & did cakes and kueh cornflakes for the upcoming festive season. Like uber semangat lah can!? I wish I had the time to do all that too! I WANT!! Well anyhoos, I have my fair share of the festive feeling too! I am gona do some banana fritters together with jemput jemput. On top of that, I am gona add tahu goreng with that. And and Bubur Pulut Hitam! So exciting lah kan!?

Invitees will be the malaysian friends and the singapore friends. Dan juga yang sewaktu dengannya. Hehe. I was thinking if I wana have the ketupats and the rendangs. Do I or do I not? Mood so play a part. Shall see the mood on saturday.

Wonder how the homey's are getting along with the raya preparations. Wonder what colors will be seen more of this year. Wonder what food and pastries are being sorted out at home. Wonder how much the parents are giving out this year. OMG! Which reminds me, after 15 years, this will be the 1st year I do not help daddy dearest putting the money in the envelope thing! Gosh! But then again, that's not the only thing that is a first this year. Lets see

After 8 years, this is the 1st time I managed to puasa full. Insyaallah..Since there is like 2 days left to fast and Alhamdulillah if I do get full..!
After 20 years, this is the 1st time I am celebrating raya away from family, home, loved ones.
After 20 years, this is the 1st time I am experiencing independency.
After 13 years, assuming girls should learn how to cook by the age of 7, I can finally cook!
After 7 years, I finally can safely say, I don't give a damn about relationships. Maturity I call it. Hah!

Teraweh today feels so different. Sad and happy. Happy because it is nearing the end. Yet sad as I do not really want it to end. So contradicting.. Ooh Ooh and I got free bananas from a malaysian friend who did research on it beforehand and no longer needs it now! It was kelong2 at Al-Khalil mosque today! And yes people the bananas are safe to eat..

Anyhoos, 2 more weeks!

That's what I ate today. Finally Mi Goreng is done with. Hoo yaH!
