Unfortunate events...

Excited that it was sunday. A great day which me and my sister was so looking forward to. It was the day when my whole family and I was going to the zoo with my little kewty, notty, sweety, nice smelling NEPHEW, DANISH.

So..I was woken up by my sister at 930am. Apparently, there was a last minute change of plans and we were going to the airport to send my relatives off. Unfortunately, they were leaving at 11am. Hurriedly, I woke my nephew up and oh so cute he was. He was tossing and turning here and there with his normal rants when being forced to wake up. How unfortunate for him...Argh...ahakx... Im baby crazy.. :p

So I bathed him quickly and out we went to the airport. Reached around 1030am and saw alot of my relatives already there. Danish was already running around making loads of noises. Seriously he LOVES the airport. He feels cool and free.. and I love him...:p

After the send off, we all headed to the zoo. As my dad was hungry, we decided to eat at KFC first. Then came the 2nd unfortunate part. It rained heavily.. YES!!! freaking heavy lah!! Therefore the trip was postponed. I was very disappointed seh. Haix.. Guess the next hopeful trip shall be on national day:(

I seem to have planned for myself alot of holidays this year. I have gone to redang. Next my family and I will be heading off to Malacca, A'Famosa straight after I finish my exams. After that in Late November Early December, we are going to to KL and lastly in december I will be going to Dubai. What A Year...Cool....

My parents will be on their way to haji this end of year. PLease pray for their safe journey back and forth. I would really appreciate it:)

So many great news went by me this week.

I will start of with my CAAS paper.
You know the one which I said I took at changi airport? I passed!!!! YeA!! I freaking passed!! haha.. I remembered the day when my classmate siewhuan told me the mailbox should hold the letter which determines my result. I was shocked as it was too early to get it back. We were informed the result would be out like in 10 days time, that day was only 5 days after. Reluctant but eager, I ran down to my mailbox and with shivering hands I opened my letter to find that I PASSED!! ahakx.. In my class alone only 9 out of the 30 passed so I felt very lucky to be one of those people in the passing category.. A reimbursement of $8.50 will be given to me. Wohhoo the thought of that amount of money in my hands is enticing. Though not much, it is still usable.:p
Ps: GOd can you believe how many times i used the word pass in this paragraph alone?? I so need to improve on my vocabulary. ahakx.

Next is my Major Project. Apparently, my animation project group got chosen to be in EPS (Engineering Project Show) which will be held in 2-4 august. I am honoured really but at the same time I felt like it is a waste of my time too. Simply cause I feel my project is just there to fill up the big room. hehx. And now my members and I have to re-edit my project to make it better I suppose. haix..I must extend my congrats to Rusydi's group for getting the commentorary award. No matter at least my project is recognised. hur hur!

Lastly I had a great time playing floorball yesterday with all my cousins. It was kinda just for fun. A weekly thing for a meet up with all the cousins. All 12 of us met at tampines around 10 pm and started playing, It felt great when sweat trickled down my face and body. It was fun and hot!! I can feel the exhilaration after so long of Not exercising. ahakx. Oh oh DanIsH was also there. He is So kewt running around with the big sticks. He is a darl... Also he has learnt how to say a new word. HAHA It is "BAPOK!!" Haha.. KEWT!!!!

Niwae I am extending my invitation to ANYONE who would like to go BANGKOK this september holidays?? How about it people? It will be fun to shop!! Things there are cheap!!! Lets go yah... COme on..Tell me quick ok!

babbles...

Bored with nothing to do, I am in ITCU lab attempting to make myself busy by trying to resesarch for my EFAS assignment. Unfortunately, I am one hell of a lazy bum and sidetracked to doing other UNnimportant business like reading people's blog, checking my mails' plus playing solitaire. Yes you guessed it; I am THAT bored.

AA quiz was held today and I got 19/20. Yea it was marked on the spot. I love mondays. It is a long day BUT it does not really require the use of my brain juices. Unlike dready tuesdays when I have to be stuck in a lab for 4 damn hours. So 4 more weeks b4 study week break. I cannot wait for the holiday part. Yet the examinations can wait...

Being with chinese guys all day, well all semester long, is turning out to be quite a routine for me. I spend less time with my malay colony, which I actually feel is a good thing. With the malays, all I do is well mmm waste time and gossip about nonsense stuff . In layman's term, I do not benefit anything. With the chinese guys, yes they do have their crappy absurd moments, but they know how to devote their time to being jerks and the next moment be hardworking idiots. I think I am falling addicted to their company. No offence to my malay colony aite. You guys are needed to when I need some time to bitch about somethings. Lovey dovey kisses to you guys.

Ps: I am a real sucker for men who smell incredibly good... Argh..Of course looks matter too...:p

What a week

7/5th/06 % Wednesday

It was a tense moment after we saw the other group's FYP project. My group had to do animation together with 3 other groups, we made up the computer graphics animation teams. I got all nervous after I saw Rushdi's group project. The animation was smooth and detailed. Mine was nice too. Very detailed however the storyline was not as smooth sailing as I wanted it to be. There were some distortions here and there plus one scene was NOT done up properly. But it was JUDGING DAY!!! Firah and I just crossed our fingers and went in the lecture theatre hoping everything will just turn out alright.
IT did!! We were able to answer all of the judges questions so much so that they do not what else to ask and instead ask us stupid questions which have no relation whatseover to our project. Hooyah.. Unfortunately though I just read a message from my MP supervisor that he wants us to touch up on some scenes of our MP project.. Oh well.. sure whatever...

7/8th/06 % Saturday

Was invited by my dearest old friend Jerald to go watch the NDP preview. Excited, I agreed almost immediately. Kallang stadium was packed with people. Unfortunately there was no goody bags. How sad:( I've got to mention that the parade was not as exciting as the ones I watched before. I guess it is getting boring. Its the same MCs all the time. Same things done out on the parade only with different themes.
However, atleast I got to spend time with my old changkat mates. We chatted about how we played truant during our secondary school days. We had a recollection session of some sort. Then there was the fireworks! I will never get bored of that; colourful and smoky...

7/14th/06 % Friday

Experienced for the first time what it felt like to be an aerospace engineer. I had my CAAS(Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) paper today. All 60 of us went there either by cars, bikes or buses. I got picked up by my dear Francis..So sweet of him...:) It was kinda interesting to see like all 60 of us stuck at BK eating and chatting cum revising getting ready for our paper. At 210pm, we walked like thru this loooonnnggggg passageway in changi airport. A place where only authorised people could go in, for our paper.
The paper was not easy however it was not that hard either. You know the feeling where you know you can pass but then there is this part of you which say CAN YOU?? I felt that after the paper. Right now i can just pray all goes well.

So I wana watch pirates of the carribean dead man chest!! Johnny Depp is like so gorgeous!! Bluek haha..Plus I've got to start practising on my driving. Only a month left to my TP... God help me pass this one..
