BANJIR!!!

I must say this week has got to be the Best, Happening week ever!! I have been blogging non stop! This is the 3rd entry already in just a week. What a CATASTROPHE today!!
So I was on my way home from school. It was raining cats and dogs outside but firah and I thought what the hecks. TP was sort of flooded with puddles of water at the concourse level and we were even joking about TP being 'bocor'. Well my happiness was short-lived as I boarded my bus at around 530pm.. The bus turned at the junction and stopped at the bus stop for people to board Only to find themselves being stuck in that bloody bus for like more than half an hour! What was so frustrating was that the bus driver did not want to let us all out giving his reasons which I don't really give a damn. Luckily, one passenger called the transit office and we were FREE!! hur hur.. So fortunately I did not live very far so I decided to walk home. I wished I had taken pictures but I was alone and You know lah...Shy...hehe.. There was a whole stretch of buses from my bus stop all the way to the bus I alighted from or even further back. Ok simply say it was like A VEERRYY LOOONNGGG stretch of buses. While walking, I see alot of people alighting from their buses and walking to their destinations. mm..I was still wondering what had happened. Apparently causing the disruption was a flood!! Yea a flood!!! Okay maybe a MINI flood...A blue mercedes car and a school bus was partially submerged in the water underneath this bridge near Bedok Green Sec. Students were taking pictures from their handphones. Bus drivers was gathered together in small groups talking loudly. Motor bikes was lucky enough though as they were able to just zoom across creating some big waves. I, however, managed to spot the mercedes driver. He seemed excited. He was saying " so many people are taking photos of my car. I hope the newspaper write this." Haha! Very singaporean.. yea2 I think they will.. Anyway, it was something I have never experienced here in Singapore. It brought back the memories when I was back in my Nenek's kampung. Us kids was actually swimming around in it. But here You see the people amazed as to how a flood could happen and they were all trying to avoid the mud which was causing a big disruption thus making me reach home LATE! Sheesh!! Seriously MUDS DUN KILL YOU!!
Oh2 I must tell you people this. There was this nenek who was like superwoman to me. She made the passageway for me matter of factly. She pulled up her kain abit and walked through the mud and water ok! And throughout the walk she kept on muttering to noe one in particular but to anyone who would listen or even understand things like " Ya allah banjir aje, aku nak balik, nak kene masak... Budak2 nie... Tak pernah nampak banjir ke??" Me and this mat who was beside her looked at each other and just smiled knowingly. Ye makcik tk pernah lah dey. he he..
It was an amazing experience seriously. Everyone should get caught in a small flood disruption one day. tsk tsk.. So catch the papers tomorrow or the news tonight. It might be forecasted. *winks* Got to go....
